What is the Free Monthly Mobile Data Package (18-25)?

The Free Monthly Mobile Data Package (18-25) is a government-funded initiative for youth aged between 18 and 25. Eligible users will benefit from 6.7GB per day Unlimited Mobile Data (200GB per month) on his/her registered my.t mobile SIM card free of charge.

Who is eligible to this package?

Any citizen of the Republic of Mauritius aged between 18 and 25 years who has a Prepay or Postay SIM card registered under his/her name can benefit from the Package.

How do I get the package?

If you are between 18 and 25 years old, click here and follow the steps to register your my.t mobile SIM card (Prepay and Postpay). You will get your Package within 48 hours from your registration.

Following successful registration with the MRA, you will be notified via SMS when your Package is activated on your number. Once activated, go to your phone settings and switch ON mobile data to access the internet.

  • You can also get a new SIM card free of charge in any Telecom Shop
